Terms & Conditions
Última actualización 20 July 2026
Welcome to sttld.
We're here to make moving to a new country feel a little less overwhelming.
These Terms explain how you can use our platform, what you can expect from us, and what we ask from you in return.
We've tried to write them in plain English because we think legal documents should be understood by the people they're written for.
By creating an account or using sttld, you agree to these Terms.
If you don't agree with them, that's completely okay — you just won't be able to use our services.
1. Who we are
sttld is a technology platform that helps people navigate the practical steps involved in moving to and settling in a new country.
Depending on the service you choose, we may help you:
- understand immigration and relocation processes
- generate personalised checklists
- prepare documents
- complete government forms
- organise supporting evidence
- track your progress
- understand what to expect before appointments
- connect with trusted independent professionals where additional support is needed
Throughout these Terms, "sttld", "we", "our" and "us" refer to Sttld Limited.
"You" means anyone using our platform.
2. Using sttld
You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian where local law allows.
When creating an account, you agree that:
- the information you provide is accurate
- you won't impersonate someone else
- you'll keep your login details secure
- you're responsible for activity carried out using your account
If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, please let us know as soon as possible.
3. What sttld does
Our platform is designed to guide you through administrative and immigration-related processes.
That may include:
- personalised workflows
- document preparation
- AI-powered guidance
- reminders
- progress tracking
- document organisation
- educational content
- relocation resources
Our goal is to simplify complicated processes — not replace them.
4. What sttld doesn't do
It's just as important to explain what we don't do.
Unless we've explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, sttld does not:
- provide legal advice
- act as your lawyer
- represent you before any government authority
- make immigration decisions
- guarantee appointments
- guarantee visas, permits or residency approvals
- guarantee processing times
- submit applications on your behalf
Immigration decisions are always made by the relevant government authority.
5. AI-generated guidance
Our AI is designed to help organise information, explain processes and personalise your journey. AI is not the source of our information — this knowledge has been carefully built by industry experts.
While we work hard to keep information accurate and up to date, immigration rules change regularly.
You should always review your documents before submitting them to a government authority.
Where appropriate, we'll recommend seeking advice from a qualified professional.
6. Your responsibilities
To help us help you, we ask that you:
- provide accurate information
- upload genuine documents
- tell us if your circumstances change
- carefully review completed forms before using them
- follow any instructions provided by government authorities
- keep your account secure
You're responsible for checking that any application submitted in your name is complete and accurate.
7. Independent professionals
Sometimes you may decide to work with a lawyer, gestor, accountant or another professional through sttld.
Those professionals operate independently.
Although we carefully select who we work with, they are responsible for the advice and services they provide.
Your relationship with them may also be governed by their own terms of engagement.
8. Payments
Some features of sttld are free. Others require payment.
Where payment is required:
- prices will be shown before you purchase
- payment is processed securely by our payment provider
- taxes may be added where required by law
Unless otherwise stated, payments are due immediately.
9. Refunds
Because many of our services involve digital content that becomes available immediately, refunds aren't always possible once work has started.
Where applicable, our Refund Policy explains when refunds are available.
Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer rights that apply under local law.
10. Your documents
Your documents remain yours.
Uploading them doesn't transfer ownership to us.
You give us permission to use your documents only to:
- provide the services you've requested
- improve document preparation
- generate personalised guidance
- detect missing information
- maintain your account
We'll never sell your personal documents.
11. Intellectual property
Everything that makes sttld… sttld… belongs to us.
That includes our:
- software
- workflows
- branding
- content
- designs
- graphics
- checklists
- educational materials
- AI prompts
- platform functionality
You're welcome to use these materials as part of your own immigration journey.
You may not copy, resell or redistribute them without our permission.
12. Acceptable use
Please don't use sttld to:
- upload fraudulent documents
- impersonate another person
- interfere with the platform
- attempt to access other users' information
- upload malware
- scrape our content
- misuse our services
- break the law
If this happens, we may suspend or permanently close your account.
13. Availability
We work hard to keep sttld available whenever you need it.
Like any online platform, we occasionally carry out maintenance or experience unexpected interruptions.
We can't promise uninterrupted access at all times, but we'll always aim to restore service as quickly as possible.
14. Changes to our services
As immigration systems change, our platform will continue evolving too.
We may:
- improve features
- introduce new services
- retire older functionality
- update workflows
- improve AI models
We'll always try to make changes in a way that benefits our users.
15. Limitation of liability
We'll always aim to provide accurate, reliable guidance.
However, we're not responsible for losses resulting from:
- changes to immigration law
- government decisions
- appointment availability
- inaccurate information provided by users
- delays caused by third parties
- internet outages
- events outside our reasonable control
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability will not exceed the amount you've paid to sttld for the service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Ending your account
You can stop using sttld whenever you'd like.
You may also request deletion of your account in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close accounts where users:
- breach these Terms
- misuse the platform
- engage in fraudulent activity
- create legal or security risks
17. Changes to these Terms
Sometimes we'll need to update these Terms.
When we make significant changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify you where required by law.
By continuing to use sttld after updated Terms come into effect, you agree to the revised version.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide additional rights.
Any disputes that can't be resolved informally will be submitted to the courts of Ireland, except where local law requires otherwise.
